Lazy K Ranch Youth Camp
These camps focus on learning responsibility thru working with horses and developing good horsemanship skills. Campers work hands on with the daily responsibilities of horse care. The comprehensive equine summer camp program includes all aspects of horse ownership. Your camper will help to feed horses, clean stalls and groom their horses. Camp subjects include horse nutrition and care including proper saddle fitting, bridle fitting and horse tack care. Your child will build self confidence, independence and positive self esteem as he/she work with their horse. Learning the concept of balanced riding with both English riding lessons and Western riding lessons. Horses are worked daily with flat work, obstacle training, horseback riding games and jumping.
